To the uninitiated, the Matthy Lifeselector sounds like a piece of high-tech sci-fi hardware. In reality, it’s a running inside joke and a very real digital spreadsheet/system we built to manage our chaotic lives. Matthy—a nickname for my partner Matt, who loves data visualization perhaps a little too much—created this interface. It’s a dashboard that presents us with daily "paths" based on our to-do lists, mood trackers, and energy levels. One day at a time
