Before we dive into the scam, a quick refresher. Paysafecard is a prepaid online payment method. Users buy a physical or digital voucher with a unique 16-digit PIN code. This PIN allows them to spend funds online without a bank account or credit card. The system is secure because the codes are generated server-side by Paysafe Group’s cryptographic systems—not by an algorithm a user can run on a laptop.

The intent is clear. The user wants free money—instant, anonymous, digital credit to spend on games, VPNs, or online shopping. They believe that somewhere on GitHub, a benevolent coder has posted a script (a "generator") that can exploit Paysafecard's algorithm and produce valid 16-digit PINs.
