The program is a driver or a daily utility. Its primary legitimate use is to reset the Protection Counter (waste ink pad counter) after replacing or cleaning the ink pads. On the M2110, once this counter reaches 100%, the printer locks down with a “Service Required” error. The adjustment program is the only way to reset it.
