Close CorelDRAW completely. Run the installer as Administrator.
Click eCut > Marks > Add registration marks . Select "Type 1" (for most optical sensors). eCut will place 3 or 4 black squares/circles around the perimeter of your print.
eCut is a CorelDRAW plugin (extension) that adds tools for cutting, nesting, tabbing, layout and CAM-like preparation for vinyl, CNC/laser, and plotter workflows — e.g., optimizing sheet nesting, creating tabs, kerf compensation, cutting paths, and generating G-code or cut lists.
Create or import vector artwork. Ensure colors are CMYK or RGB (no special cut color needed initially).
Overall, eCut transforms CorelDRAW from a pure vector editor into a practical pre‑press and CAM tool for cutting workflows, making it a valuable addition for anyone producing physical cut parts from vector artwork.
Contour cutting printed sheets requires precision. eCut allows you to print barcodes next to your registration marks. When you load the sheet into the cutter later, the cutter reads the barcode, and eCut automatically retrieves the correct cut file. This is standard in high-end production but impossible in native CorelDRAW.
