Belle sets out to rescue her father and offers to take his place as the Beast's prisoner. Over time, she learns to see beyond the Beast's physical appearance and discovers a kind and vulnerable soul within. As they spend more time together, Belle and the Beast develop a deep connection, and the curse is eventually broken.

The film tells the story of Belle (played by Emma Watson), a kind and intelligent young woman who lives in a small French village. She is ostracized by the community for her love of reading and her independent nature. When her father, Maurice (played by Kevin Kline), gets lost in the forest and seeks shelter in a nearby castle, he is imprisoned by the Beast (played by Dan Stevens), a prince who has been cursed to live as a monster unless he finds true love.

Voice casting in dubbing acts as a secondary layer of direction. In the Tamil version, the characterization of the Beast is pivotal.
