This film belongs to Brendan Fraser. He is the definition of a charismatic leading man—handsome, rugged, yet hilarious. He sells the absurdity of the plot with a wink and a smile. Rachel Weisz is equally compelling as Evelyn; she is smart, clumsy, and brave, serving as the emotional anchor of the film. The late Omid Djalili provides excellent comic relief, but John Hannah as the greedy, cowardly brother steals many scenes.
