Open x360ce.ini with Notepad. You can manually map buttons here, but most find it easier to use a Community Mapping Tool to generate the configuration first.

As of 2025, a group of Russian and German modders are backporting features from x360ce 4.x into the Vibmod 3.1.4.0 codebase (unofficially called “Vibmod Revival”). If you want the “golden build,” stick to the original 3.1.4.0 release—it has been battle-tested on over 10,000 game configurations.
