The "No Disks Found" IssueIf the disks still don't appear after loading the driver, reboot and press F9 to enter System Utilities. Navigate to System Configuration > BIOS/Platform Configuration (RBSU) > Storage Options > SATA Controller Options. Ensure the controller is set to "HPE Smart Array S100i SR Gen10" and NOT "Legacy BIOS" or "Intel RSTe."
Microsoft did not include a built-in driver for the S100i because the controller was released years before Windows Server 2022. Consequently, Windows Server 2022 will NOT detect any drives connected to the S100i without manually loading the driver.
