Sometimes the headset connects as "Hands-Free AG Audio" (mono, poor quality for music). To force stereo mode (A2DP), go into your computer or phone’s Bluetooth settings, find the BT-5908, and uncheck "Call audio" or "Headset profile." Leave only "Media audio" checked. The manual alludes to this on page 7 but does not explain the OS settings.
