This often means the transferable cache is corrupted or for a different game version (e.g., update 1.1.0 vs 1.2.0). Delete the cache and let Yuzu rebuild it from scratch.

: You may see brief visual glitches or "texture pop-in" while the shader finishes. Vulkan vs. OpenGL yuzu shader cache

Restart Yuzu and load your game. The first load might take 10–15 seconds longer as Yuzu verifies the cache. After that, the game should be stutter-free. This often means the transferable cache is corrupted

A shader cache is a collection of pre-compiled programs that your GPU uses to render graphics, such as lighting and effects. When Yuzu encounters a new effect for the first time, it must compile the shader, which often causes a momentary stutter. Storing these on your disk allows the emulator to load them instantly in future sessions. Option 1: Building Your Own (Recommended) Vulkan vs

Shaders are small programs that tell your GPU how to render objects, light, and effects. On an original console, these are pre-compiled for the specific hardware. In an emulator like yuzu, your PC must translate and compile these "on the fly" as you encounter new visual elements. The Problem
