The acting is serviceable at best. The tension between the prisoners and the guards feels forced, and the decisions made by the characters are infuriatingly stupid even by horror movie standards. At one point, characters stop to argue about money while being hunted by a flesh-eating giant. It breaks the immersion and turns the film into a dark comedy rather than a survival thriller.
